Valentine’s Day can be a tricky holiday for some people.
It’s not just a day about romantic love. It’s a Hallmark holiday in my opinion.
Valentine’s Day can also be about the love we have for our family, friends, our pets, our jobs, our communities and most importantly, ourselves.
Remember that your worth is not tied to your relationship status, especially on one day out of the year. Feel empowered by your life.
People tend to post their highlights on social media, Valentine’s Day is certainly no exception. Remember that most people’s lives are never as perfect as they look.
The love you have for yourself is the most important love you should have and will help bring great things into your life. So always be kind to yourself. Self-love and self-care are tantamount to your well-being and success.
Don’t compare yourself to others – you never know what’s going on behind closed doors. I have been in many relationships that looked perfect from the outside but were nothing even close to that in reality.
Give yourself some extra love today and remind yourself how much love you have all around you whether you’re in a relationship or not.
A great idea for a social media post would be to post about something or someone you love.
Take the time to show love to people for whom you are grateful.
Here’s a picture of my two grumpy little valentines. I’m sending you all much love today.
