Here’s a list of some of the things I’ve stopped doing (or at least I’m working on not doing) in order to grow and become a better version of me:

  1. Overthinking
  2. Self-sabotaging
  3. Overextending myself
  4. Saying yes when I want to say no
  5. Procrastinating
  6. Getting in my own way
  7. Surrounding myself with people who don’t support or treat me well
  8. Negative self-talk
  9. Doing things that don’t make me feel good
  10. Making excuses for people who let me down
  11. Beating myself up for not finishing my to-do list
  12. Not trying to tell everyone my side of a particular story
  13. Not gossiping about people anymore
  14. Having fewer but more genuine friendships
  15. Realizing I won’t fit in my skinniest jeans again and loving my body just the way it is now
  16. Not choosing people who don’t choose me – if you don’t want to be in my life, that’s okay
  17. Trying to make sense of things that don’t make sense
  18. Worrying too much about the future and instead just focusing on being happy in the here and now

And wow does it feel good 🙂
