If you don’t create it, someone else will.

If you don’t post it, someone else will.

If you don’t dream it, someone else will.

If you don’t do it today, someone else will.

If you don’t believe in it, someone else will.

So why not you? Or me.

Our ability to succeed hinges upon believing in ourselves no matter what challenges come our way. This takes courage, grit and guts.

When you expect great things of yourself, great things begin to happen.

What will make you shine is completely unique to you. So get clear on what you want to achieve and what steps you will take to achieve it.

Success is about action. So start now.

This photo was taken at one of my first paid speaking engagements.

I never thought I could be a public speaker, in fact unused to be terrible at it. But I love connecting with an audience, and so I worked hard for it and now I get paid speak around the country.

Tony Robbins captured this so well when he said, “At the core of self-belief is realizing that you – and only you – are the driver of your own success. This is where personal power is built: in claiming agency to overcome challenges in your life. Believing in yourself isn’t about uninterrupted success. It’s about being able to move on from failure quickly.”

In order to believe in yourself more and become more successful you can:

  • Explore new work or educational opportunities.
  • Learn new skills or improve the ones you already have.
  • Make new connections to uncover new opportunities.

By believing that change is possible, you’ll be consciously choosing to grow. The magic happens by simply believing it’s possible.

Reset, refocus and restart, no matter how many times it takes you.

It’s never too early or too late to start over and try again.

So what are you waiting for?
