Why it’s Important to Find Your Authentic Voice When Creating Social Media Posts

Find your voice

Customers aren’t interested in businesses that publish dry, corporate-style social media posts.

Instead, let your brand’s personality shine through in everything you share on social media.

Be yourself. Be authentic. Be unique. This has been the key to my personal social media success. I also often tell personal stories and I am not afraid to share stories about my failures and lessons learned. It makes me more relatable and more human.

What does your brand voice sound like? How does it represent who you are?

You can be a professional brand and be unique and appropriate on social media.

Maybe you highlight your people in a campaign. Or maybe you focus on life at the company. Perhaps it’s service areas or products. The important thing is HOW you say it. What images you use to convey your brand and capture the tone.

Be true to who you are, not who you think you should be. Followers want to see real people behind your social profiles. So show them.
