A friend sent me this today and it really hit home for me on so many levels.
She said “You fall, you rise, you make mistakes, you live, you learn. You’re human, not perfect. You’ve been hurt, but you’re alive. Think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy and to chase the things you love. Sometimes there is sadness in our journey, but there is also lots of beauty. We must keep putting one foot in front of the other even when we hurt, for we will never know what is waiting for us just around the bend.”
We will all be okay and emerge stronger together. Working from home is not that bad – be thankful you are able to work and spend more time with your loved ones at home.
Sending love to everyone – please be extra kind to your family, friends and others in the community right now. And please don’t hoard supplies.
Instead of stocking up on toilet paper, buy food that you’ve always wanted to cook but never had the time to, like this Girl Scout cookie brookie topped with a mini ice cream cone – yes it was as delicious as it looks!
When social distancing, you’ll have the ability to let things simmer and rise. It’s been very therapeutic for me and my special taste tester.
